The Holland Hurricanes(1-3) hosted the Mount Allison Mounties(2-1) on Sunday afternoon.
Although it is early in the season both teams would be feeling the pressure to get a result.
The match start in the Hurricanes favor and they never looked back. The Mounties struggled to get an attack going and had 27 kills and 27 attacking errors.
For a moment it looked like the Mounties were going to pull one back when the Hurricanes found themselves trailing at times in the third set the host team found a way through to take it 3 sets to 0.
For the Hurricanes Jenna O'Neill was swinging well with 14 kills and .520 kill pct.
Madelyn Tomyn had 15 assists off the bench.
