The UKC Blue Devils took on the Holland Hurricanes in their home opener this weekend. The Hurricanes came out strong winning the first and second sets 25-23 and 25-11. The Blue Devils came back in the third set with strong efforts from captain Emma Wilson leading the Blue Devils to a win in the third set 25-20. The final set was strong for both sides as they went back and forth point by point till they were tied 24-24. Hurricanes took the set with a spin serve and Ace from #11, Samantha Gerbig. The final score of the fourth and final set was 26-24 in favour of the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes take home the win 3-1.
