ACAA soccer

The UNBSJ Seawolves hosted the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams in ACAA women's soccer Saturday at the Canada Games Stadium.

Hannah McIntyre scored five minutes into the game for the Seawolves who kept up the pressure for most of the first half.  The Rams came back with pressure of their own in the seoond half but the Seawolves were able to weather the storm and McInttyre's early goal stood up as the winner in the 1-0 win. Both teams hit the crossbar twice. Seawolves keeper Jillian Smith and Rams keeper Rachel Sheffield both made several good saves in the wide open game. The Seawolves outchanced the Rams 10-5 and had  six corner kicks to one for the Rams.

The Seawolves move to 3-4-1 while the Rams fall to 1-6-1. The Seawolves host Holland Colleged tomorrow at 2:00 PM while the Rams travel to St. Thomas to take on the Tommies at 12:00 PM.
