In their home opener at St. Francis field in Halifax, the Blue Devils of UKC hosted the Mounties of Mount Allison University for the second game week of the ACAA Women's Rugby season. The UKC Ladies would take an early lead and never look back, winning by a final score of 55-13. Scoring tries for UKC included Liv Obura (2), Zoe Woods, Catie Gannon (2), Taryn Hanrahan (2), Amelia Jardine, Ainsley Priddell, & senior, Rosa Toutah. Elsewhere, the Mounties scored 2 tries, both by Kestia Milonga, and 1 conversion from Kailey McGraw. The Mounties fall to 1-1 on the season, having beat STU in the opening game week and will next face UNB at home in Sackville on September 26th at 3PM. The Blue Devils improve to 1-1, having lost to UNB on the road in game week 1, and will next face the St. Thomas University Tommies on the road in Fredericton on September 26th at 2PM.
