The home opener for the DAL AC Rams was a good one , as they trounced the Blue Devils 64-5 on Sunday.  Although the score didn't indicate, the play was quite even, as both squads had to work out "first game of the season" errors.  The Rams were quick to hit the scoreboard with veteran and former Rookie of the Year,  Whitney Shaver scoring her first try at 3 minutes into the first half and scoring again at 14 minutes. In the second half Shaver hit early again with a try 5 minutes in and again with 10 minutes left in the match.  She also added two converts for a total of 24 points for the outing. Adding to the Rams scoring were Kathleen Sterritt with 3 trys off great runs from mid-field, rookie Kaelyn Wambolt with 2 trys , and Jocelyn Manley, Rebecca Smith and Melissa Sterritt scoring a try each.   Being short staffed didn't stop the Blue Devils from playing a strong game .  They had some great runs, with Cassandra Hayward pushing her way through getting  a try in the last 10 minutes.
