Mystics survive Stu Tommies for Win

In an up and down affair the MSVU Mystics outlasted the STU Tommies in ACAA league play today by a score of 75-72. In a very entertaining and fast paced first half the Tommies went into the break with a 49-45 lead and all the momentum. The teams played even throughout the third quarter and enterting the fourth the lead was one for the Tommies. In the fourth both teams did not want to give up and inch. The defense for both teams were engaged and on full display. The Tommies did take an early 7 point lead in the fourth but the Mystics chipped away to go up by 5. The Tommies cut that to 3 and with the ball, Coach Connors drew up his play to go after the 3 pointer which they were able to get a look but it was off and the Mystics secured the ball and time ran out. Great effort and game by both teams.
