The Canes won the first two sets and had hoped to take the game in three straight but the Tommies came back and won the next two. It was a close battle in the fifth until the teams switched sides at 8-7 and the Canes went on a run to finish the set 15-9. The Canes were led by Simon Archibald with 17 points and Cole MacKey with 16. The tommies were led by Dallas Melnich who had 20 points.
