Ritu delivered a dominant performance in both women’s singles and doubles (with partner Akshaya Jayakeerthi) at UNBSJ’s home tournament this weekend. In the Round of 16 of Women’s Singles, she cruised to victories of 21–1 and 21–0, followed by another convincing 21–1, 21–1 win in the quarterfinal. She continued her strong run by defeating teammates Rachel Gillies (21–4, 21–4) in the semifinal and Akshaya Jayakeerthi (21–8, 21–3) in the final to claim the Women’s Singles title.

Her dominance carried over to Women’s Doubles, where she and partner Akshaya Jayakeerthi won their matches decisively—21–4, 21–8 in the quarterfinal, 21–8, 21–4 in the semifinal, and 21–12, 21–8 in the final.
