Vaibhav continued his strong 2025-26 badminton season by helping the Seawolves to a 2nd place finish in the team event by going undefeated in his events. Later that evening he was named ACAA Male Player of the Year, becoming the first Seawolf to take home that honour. On Sunday during the National Qualifier he once again went undefeated, becoming the ACAA representative in men's singles on ACAA Team 1.
