Katie Vidito of the St. Thomas Tommies women’s basketball team delivered a dominant performance over the weekend, playing a key role in leading the Tommies to the ACAA championship. In Saturday’s semifinal victory against UNBSJ, a 61–48 win, Vidito logged 36 minutes and recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds, setting the tone on both ends of the floor. She followed that performance with another double-double in the championship game on Sunday, helping the Tommies secure a 63–46 victory with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Vidito’s leadership was instrumental throughout the tournament. She gets her first ACAA title.
