Church Point, N.S.: The Université Sainte-Anne Dragons (0-12) hosted the STU Tommies (4-8) on Sunday morning at the gymnasium of the Marcel-R-Comeau Sports Centre at Université Sainte-Anne in Church Point, N.S.

The Tommies dominated early on winning sets 1 & 2 : 25-13 & 25-20. The Dragons came back taking the 3rd set 25-21 but STU completed the 3-1 win taking the 4th set 25-21. 

Leading the way for the Tommies: Kathleen Boyle with 15 kills & 18 digs, Chloe Little with 13 kills & 15 digs, Brooke Thompson with 20 digs & Jenna Murphy with 32 assists & 4 Service Aces. For les Dragons: Amy Arsenault with 12 kills & 20 digs, Jillian MacDonald with 9 kills, Makayla Addington with 16 digs & Jacqueline Bright with 24 assists, 5 Service Aces & 11 digs. 

The Dragons will take the road next weekend for a pair of matches in St. John, N.-B. vs the Seawolves while the Tommies will play a pair of matches in Moncton, N.-B. vs Crandall Chargers.

Pointe-de-l'Église, N.-É. : Les Dragons de l'Université Sainte-Anne (0-12) accueillaient les Tommies de STU (4-8) dimanche matin au gymnase du Centre sportif Marcel-R-Comeau de l'Université Sainte-Anne à Pointe-de-l'Église en Nouvelle-Écosse.

Les Tommies ont dominé le match très tôt en remportant les manches 1 et 2 : 25-13 et 25-20. Les Dragons sont revenues dans le match en remportant la 3e manche 25-21, mais STU a complété la victoire 3-1 en remportant la 4e manche 25-21.

Les Tommies ont mené la danse : Kathleen Boyle avec 15 attaques marquantes et 18 récupérations, Chloe Little avec 13 attaques marquantes et 15 récupérations, Brooke Thompson avec 20 récupérations et Jenna Murphy avec 32 passes et 4 as de service. Pour les Dragons : Amy Arsenault avec 12 attaques marquantes et 20 récupérations, Jillian MacDonald avec 9 attaques marquantes, Makayla Addington avec 16 récupérations et Jacqueline Bright avec 24 passes, 5 as du service et 11 récupérations.

Les Dragons prendront la route le week-end prochain pour une paire de matchs à St. Jean, N.-B. contre les Seawolves tandis que les Tommies joueront une paire de matchs à Moncton, N.-B. contre les Crandall Chargers.
