Hurricanes sweep Dragons to start 2019

CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland Hurricanes swept the Sainte Anne Dragons Saturday evening at the Centre for Community Engagement, with scores of 25-13, 25-15, and 25-11. With the win, the Hurricanes improved to 8-3 and continue to hold down second place in the ACAA standings. The Dragons fell to 1-10 with the loss. 

 

Jasmine Smith's nine kills led the way offensively for the Hurricanes, while Taylor Allen's game-high 12 digs helped bolster the defensive effort.

For the Dragons, Isabelle Richard Poirier had six kills, and Marise Gionet had 11 digs. 

 

The two teams will square off again on Sunday, January 13th at 12:00 PM at the CCE.
