ACAA women’s basketball

The UNB Saint John Seawolves took on the Dalhousie Agricultural College Saturday in ACAA women's basketball.

The Seawolves got a quick jump on the Rams in the first quarter and cruised to a 79-35 victory.

Hanna Grossman led the way for the Seawolves with 17 points. Gabrielle Fader added 10 points and Autumn DeMerchant finished with 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Maggie MacLeod had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Rams. Jessica Greenhaigh added 7 points and Hailey Anderson contributed 8 assists.

The Seawolves improved to 7-7 and into a tie for fourth place with UKC while the Rams dropped to 0-15 and sit in eighth place.

The Seawolves play at home again Sunday, February 3 at 2:30 PM while the next game for the Rams is Wednesday, Feb. 6 when they travel to play MSVU at 6:30 PM.
