CHARLOTTETOWN - The Holland Hurricanes 30 turnovers led to 25 St. Thomas points, as the Tommies breezed to a 76-56 victory Saturday night at the Centre for Community Engagement.
Bridget Frazee had a game-high 28 points, while Lainey Dow added 18 points and six assists for the 10-3 (won-lost) St. Thomas University Tommies. Lexi MacInnis had 14 points and nine rebounds to lead the Holland Hurricanes (3-8).
The Tommies trailed 17-16 after the first quarter, but quickly erased the deficit to lead 33-27 at the half, and 47-39 after three quarters of play.
Up next, Holland will travel to Halifax to face the UKC Blue Devils (5-5) January 26th, as the look to extend their winning streak to twelve-straight.
The Tommies will square off with the win-less Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Rams on the 26th in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia.
