Crandall University was hitting on all cylinders on Sunday as they faced the Dal AC Rams in ACAA Women's Basketball action. Both teams were playing the second day of back to backs but the Chargers looked like they just had a week off. Both teams got off to a tough start with the 1st quarter finishing with Crandall leading 9-4. Coach Smith was able to rally her troops and the Chargers responded by outscoring the Rams 35-4 in the 2nd quarter. From there they never looked back winning 82-28.
Chargers were led in scoring by Madison McHatten with 24 points and Emily Briggs with 17 but the most impressive stat line was Morgan McHatten who was close to a quadruple double with 10 points, 10 steals, 6 assists and 7 rebounds.
The Rams were led by Maggie MacLeod with 18 points.
Chargers are back in action on January 19th facing the Mount A Mounties in Sackville.
