Crandall women lose a nail bitter in Moncton against the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA action on Saturday afternoon. Holland took the game 70-68.
The Chargers fought hard against a tough Hurricanes team and alomost pulled out the victory behind some great shooting from 2nd year guard Emily Briggs. Emily finished with 30 with 10 made free throws. Morgan McHatten was the other high scorer for the Chargers with 18.
Lexi MacInnis led the Hurricanes with 21 points in the win.
Crandall heads down to Truro tomorrow to face the Dal AC Rams before returning home next Saturday to host the UNBSJ Seawolves. Game time Saturday is 1pm.
