The UNB Saint John Seawolves and University of King's College Blue Devils met in ACAA men's basketball Sunday in Saint John.
The Seawolves controlled the game from the opening tipoff. They blasted to a 43-25 half time lead and then cruised to a convincing 88-66 win over the Blue Devils.
Jacob Vickers led the Seawolves with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Rookie Alex Giesecke had 14 points and Matt Brown chipped in with 9 rebounds and 7 points.
Campbell Colpitts was the top performer for the Blue Devils with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Mitchell Rutledge had 13 points and Nicholas Frew had 10 points and 5 rebounds.
The Seawolves improved to 2-4 while the Blue Devils fell to 3-4.
The next game for both teams will be December 1. The Seawolves travel to Mount Allison University to take on the Mounties at 3:00pm while the Blue Devils host the Holland College Hurricanes at 6:00pm.
