Male Athlete of the Week: Robert LeBlanc

St. Thomas University Men’s Soccer

Academic Program: Arts

Year: 1

Home town: Hartland, NB

Robert LeBlanc, a first-year striker from Hartland, NB, had a standout weekend for the Tommies. On Saturday, LeBlanc netted two goals for the Tommies in a 3-1 win over the UNBSJ Seawolves, and on Sunday he buried one goal and set up two in a 4-2 comeback win over the Crandall Chargers. The Tommies have won their last four games and hold a 4-2-1 record to-date.

Holland College Women`s Golf

Academic Program: BioScience

Year: 1

Home town : Stratford, PEI

McEwen, a first year Bioscience student from Stratford, PEI was successful in winning her first individual ACAA Golf Championship this weekend with a two-day total of 172 through challenging conditions at the Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club. Her solid play helped lead the ‘Canes to it’s sixth ACAA women’s team title in the programs history alongside her teammate Jaylene Holmes-Tang.
