for October 26-November 1:
Marika McKenzie

Women's Soccer
ACAA Player of the Year
Marika was named ACAA's Player of the Year for Women's Soccer and played every
minute of the every game as a holding central midfielder. This position is a very
disciplined and unselfish role that Marika has excelled at. Marika is a smart and
technically sound footballer. Her vision and ability to control the game is amazing.
When many teams throughout the season have adjusted their game to stop number #19, that in itself tells you that she is a very gifted player. Marika performed consistently throughout the season and her attitude both on and off the field has made her a pleasure to Coach. Marika played two great matches at ACAA Chmpionships and is an outstanding player in the ACAA.

ACAA Player of the Year
Anders is a first yar player from Clagary who stepped right into the starting
line up for UKC from game one and made his stamp on the ACAA league. He is joing leading scorer (6) of the team, great tally for any first year player, especially considering he plays in the midfield. He is a great technical player who loves to have the ball at his feet and attack teams at every opportunity. He has been instrumental for King's in every performance with his goals, assists and quality of play he brings to the team. With him on the field King's always look dangerous, both now and in the future. At the ACAA Championships, Anders was a stand out and was also named ACAA Player of the Year for Men's Soccer.
Madeleine Crowell

Women's Cross Country
ACAA 2009-10 MVP and Conference All-Star
Mount Allison's Madeleine Crowell did not lose a race over this year's ACAA Cross-Country season. This past weekend, 'Maddy' capped her season in speedy fashion winning the ACAA Women's Cross-Country Championships at Université
Sainte-Anne. She was selected as the league's 2009-10 MVP and a Conference
All-Star. Maddy, who is in her first year at MTA, is also a member of the Mounties' Swim Team and specializes in the 50, 100 and 200 meter breaststroke events. A former Student from Colonel Gray Senior High School, she is also a past swimmer with the Charlottetown Blue Phins and the PEI Provincial Teams.
Parker Vaughan

2009-10 MVP and a Conference All-Star
Mount Allison's, Parker Vaughan has run two consecutive cross-country seasons without losing a race. This past weekend, for the second time, he again won the ACAA Cross-Country championships at Université Sainte-Anne. He was selected as the league's 2009-10 MVP and a Conference All-Star, also for the second year in a row. A graduate of Auburn Drive High School, Parker is an outstanding triathlete, a freestyler with the Mounties' Swim Team, a past memeber with the 2009 NS Canada Games Triathlon Team and a former swimmer with the Dartmouth Crusaders.
